Photo of Tanisha Cain

Eighteen-year-old Tanisha Cain first started visiting the Homewood Branch of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh regularly four years ago because the Library's computers enabled her to discover the world of the Internet. As a regular visitor to the Library, she soon also discovered an extensive collection of books for teenagers. Today, the Library continues to expand its Young Adult book collection, and it features summer reading programs, writing workshops, book discussion groups, and other programs for teens. The Library's Web site includes teen book reviews and links to sites specifically geared toward young adults.
