Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh receives $2 Million Grant for Capital Campaign
A grant from The Heinz Endowments will support construction projects in the Hill District and North Side and the renovation of the Library’s East Liberty location.

April 19, 2007:
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Begins Construction on City's Newest Library
Official groundbreaking on the Library's new facility in the Hill District.

July 19, 2006:
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Completes Woods Run Renovation
CLP - Woods Run celebrates grand re-opening August 5th.

June 5, 2006:
Governor Ed Rendell Pledges $7.5 Million to Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's Capital Campaign
Slated for immediate renewal are the Library's East Liberty and Hill District locations.

February 9, 2006
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh to Build New Hill District Facility
Located on the corner of Centre Avenue and Kirkpatrick Street the new library will be the first facility in Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's Capital Improvements Campaign that is a completely new structure.
