We are supporting the Library on October 4. Will you?
Holly and Eli Eidinger
"We enjoy visiting the Library to attend Story Time and to pick out books to take home. I have very fond memories of the Library from my childhood and I am excited to share that same experience with my son.
I am making a gift to the Library through the Day of Giving on October 4 because Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is an important place for all the children of Pittsburgh."
During one 24-hour period, your gift to the Library can go even further! From 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, The Pittsburgh Foundation will host Pittsburgh's Day of Giving. Your gift of $25 or more to the Library, made through the PittsburghGives Website during that period will be matched by The Pittsburgh Foundation.

The fastest way to make your gift to the Library go further.
Guidelines for Day of Giving 2011
- All contributions received through the PittsburghGives website during the 24-hour period will receive a portion of the matching dollars.
- You have the ability to donate to multiple organizations at the same time.
- Credit card gifts only. No gifts from checks, cash, gift card redemptions, or donor-advised fund grants will be eligible for matching funds.
- All donations during that 24-hour period will receive a pro-rated portion of the match pool. (As an example, if the match pool is $500,000 and the total amount raised that day is $2,000,000, then the match may be .25 cents on the dollar.)
- The minimum contribution is $25.
- All donations for the Day of Giving 2011 will only be accepted through the www.pittsburghgives.org website NOT the nonprofit database site, http://pittsburghgives.guidestar.org, which will not have a donating function that day.
