Basic Proposal Writing

This full-day course is targeted toward those individuals who are new to the proposal writing process or want to polish their skills. Attendees will learn the basic components and format of a grant proposal and the process used to develop a project into a written grant request.

Sally Beatty brings over 20 years of professional project management, business systems analysis, and computer programming experience to the grant consulting field. In 2005, she founded Write-Click Solutions, LLC to meet the grant writing and research needs of nonprofits. She has secured millions in funding from foundations and government sources for a variety of clients, including hospitals, schools, libraries, arts groups, faith-based organizations and social service agencies for a wide range of projects, including capital campaigns, scholarship funds, and equipment and programming needs. Sally is a member of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals (AFP) and the Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership and a Trustee of the Pine-Richland Opportunities Fund.
