Pirates Tales
Hey Readers,
This summer, you can read your way into PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates by participating in Pirates Tales, a program brought to you by Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
If you are between the ages of 4-12 you can sign up for Pirates Tales until August 2, 2013 by reading as many books as you want. After finishing each book, complete and return an entry form to your librarian, and consider yourself entered to win! You can pick up more entry forms at any participating library or enter online at www.carnegielibrary.org.
After August 2, six lucky children from each participating library will be chosen in a random drawing to receive 2 tickets to a Pirates game, as well as a special storytime with a Pirates celebrity and the Pirate Parrot at PNC Park on September 15, 2013.
The Pittsburgh Pirates and your local public library are proud to offer this program and encourage the importance of reading. If you have any questions, feel free to ask your librarian.
