We love the library so much
that we're going to stay up all night to prove it.
Read to the People: 1440@4400
Join Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and friends for Read to the People: 1440@4400, a 24-hour read aloud on the front steps of CLP-Main in Oakland (4400 Forbes Avenue). The event will run from noon on Friday, October 14 through noon on Saturday, October 15. Library supporters will be reading aloud from their favorite books to urge the community to get out and vote YES in support of the Our Library, Our Future initiative on the November 8 ballot.
We'll have activities and visits from Pittsburgh celebrities such as actor David Conrad, Councilman Patrick Dowd, Lynn Cullen, author Kathleen George and Abby Lee Miller from Lifetime's Dance Moms.
