Animal Tales: Furry Folktale Fun

In this program we will be sharing animal folktales from a variety of countries and cultures. Students will be given the opportunity to experiment with puppets in the story telling. This unique experience will also be paired with an activity centered on easy puppet making; students will be making their very OWN puppets to act out the story!
Recommended for grades K-2.

Fantastic Fractured Fairytales

So what really happened? This is the major question we will be investigating with students as we share many popular fairytales, and those with a new twist! Students will also have the opportunity to write and illustrate their very OWN fractured fairytale.

This program covers the resources available in the public library -from CDs to videos- and introduces the different kinds of books. Students will have the opportunity to register for a library card. Arrangement of a local public library tour is also available.
