Screen reading or screen review software interacts with speech synthesizers to enable individuals who are blind or visually impaired to access the information displayed on a computer screen through voice output or refreshable braille display. The library provides access to a software package called JAWS for Windows on computers using Microsoft's Internet Explorer as the web browser software.
