    The national website of the metachain of home development super stores. Use their store finder to find one near you.
  • Lehman's
    Located 118 miles from Pittsburgh in Kidron, Ohio (near Canton), Lehman's originally served the surrounding Amish community but eventually went into catalog sales and then to an online store. Read more about it in this October 14, 2009 article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

    Build.com has gone out and searched the internet to find the best sites in product catagories. Product catagories range from Appliances to Yard and Garden. Build.com also has a home improvement bulletin board/discussion forum.

  • ToolBase Services: Energy Efficiency Improvements for Remodeling Projects - Training Modules

    ENERGY STAR was introduced by the US Environmental Protection Agency in 1992 as a voluntary labeling program designed to identify and promote energy-efficient products, in order to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. ENERGY STAR has expanded to cover new homes, most of the buildings sector, residential heating and cooling equipment, major appliances, office equipment, lighting, consumer electronics, and more product areas.
