    A microbrewery and restaurant in a former church in Lawrenceville.
  • East End Brewing Company
    This microbrewery in Homewood began operation in 2004 and offers growlers during limited hours. The website also lists local beer events coming up.
  • Hereford and Hops Steakhouse and Brewpub
    A brewpub chain with a location in Cranberry Township, north of Pittsburgh.
  • Jones Brewing Company
    One of the historic Pennsylvania breweries, Jones Brewing Company is located in the town of Smithton, Pennsylvania and produces Stoney's. Shirley Jones of the musicals is from this family.
  • North Country Brewing Company
    A brewpub in Slippery Rock, north of Pittsburgh. They also serve Pennsylvania wines.
  • Pennsylvania Brewing Company (Penn Brewery)
    Pennsylvania Brewing Company, founded in 1986 by Tom Pastorius to brew authentic German beers, was the first craft brewer in Pennsylvania and a pioneer in the microbrewery movement. Located on the North Side, their brews include Penn Pilsner, Penn Dark and Gold Lager, Oktoberfest and Weizen Bier -- just like the Weissbier in Munich!
  • Pittsburgh Brewing Company
    Makers of the famous Iron City Beer which has been brewed since 1861. Their website includes a history of Iron City and the brewery.
  • Red Star Brewery & Grille
    This brewpub opened in 1998 in the Historic Train Station in Greensburg, east of Pittsburgh. They also make an Old Fashioned Rootbeer and a Seasonal Soda.
