Pittsburgh Region

  • Allegheny Regional Asset District (ARAD)
    This special purpose, area wide unit of local government for Allegheny County distributes 50% of the 1% sales tax to civic, cultural and recreational entities, libraries, parks and sports facilities.
 

Pennsylvania

  • Pennsylvania Council on the Arts
    Provides Grants and Awards for arts organizations, non-arts organizations conducting an arts program, units of government, schools and school districts, individual artists and ensemble, collaborators, or other unincorporated groups.
  • Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development
    Programs are joint efforts between state and local governments, local community-based organizations and corporations to improve living conditions in Pennsylvania's impoverished communities. The Single Application is available online in PDF format.
  • Pennsylvania Humanities Council
    a private, non-profit organization serving as the Commonwealth's affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. They support and conduct public humanities programs for adults who seek lifelong learning in history, philosophy, literature, and related subjects.
  • Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission
    The offical agency of the Commonwealth for the conservation of Pennsylvania's historic heritage
  • Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Community Mini-Grant Program
    Grant projects must be directly related to alcohol issues that target the under-21 population and are considered an environmental strategy. For 2001 the grants are $1,500 and run from July 1 to June 30 with the application deadline May 31.
