The City @ Work
Pittsburghers on the Job!
7th Annual Photography Contest Winners

The contest was open to all high school student amateur photographers in grades 9-12 in Allegheny County and was judged on how well the photographer illustrated the theme "The City at Work: Pittsburghers on the Job" (An image that features individual occupations or a representation of the citizens of Pittsburgh pursuing their livelihood). The photographs were also judged on artistic merit and technical quality and must have been taken after January 1, 2003.

Prizes awarded were courtesy of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Contest sponsored by the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Contest judges were: John Beale, Photographer, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; Tim Kaulen, Photographer, Carnegie Mellon University; and Jacalyn Mignogna, Preservation Librarian, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh
