Are you in need of some gently used clothing? 5th and Beechwood in Shadyside operates a clothing bank to help you get back on your feet. They offer clothes that fit infants through teens (no adult clothing). Wednesday 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM; 4th Monday 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. -
Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania
Goodwill has many retail stores in the Pittsburgh area in which they sell donated clothing. -
Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Council of Pittsburgh
Partnering with more than 50 other non-profit organizations including county social services, employment services and churches, St. Vincent de Paul offers clothing vouchers through its five conveniently located thrift stores. Clothing voucher requests are submitted by Conference members, social workers, and in-kind partners to the central office of the Council of Pittsburgh to be sent to the store nearest the client. Clients are then able to shop for their individual style and size of clothing free of charge.
