Action Housing
(Allegheny Council To Improve Our Neighborhoods) ACTION-Housing, since 1957, has used its financial and human resources to empower the most vulnerable families and individuals in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County to build more secure and self-sufficient lives through the provision of decent affordable housing and essential supportive services. -
Allegheny County Department of Human Services: Housing Resources
Includes an 83-page HUD/HAP Contracted Providers Directory listing housing resources available to the homeless or near homeless population in Allegheny County. Individuals or families in need of housing can call appropriate agencies listed in the directory. Also lists nonprofit organizations that help with housing assistance. -
Allegheny County Housing Authority
Their goal is to provide safe and affordable housing, with special provisions for senior and physically challenged citizens. -
City of Pittsburgh Housing Authority

Rebuilding Together - Pittsburgh
Formerly Christmas in April, Rebuilding Together - Pittsburgh is a non-partisan, non-sectarian and non-profit organization that engages in an annual one-day blitz to repair and rehabilitate homes of low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners. -
Urban League of Pittsburgh Housing Services
The Urban League's housing counseling services programs provide services to help all people secure and maintain safe, appropriate, affordable housing. Residents of Allegheny County are assisted with problems related to housing including household budgeting and debt management, pending eviction, housing selection, tenant/landlord disputes, credit restoration, and foreclosure prevention. -
